online – Travel to Cuba Now – Yes You Can
December 17 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Now is a great time to travel to Cuba. There is the Jazz Festival starting January 26 and the World Balance Conference January 28th. You can travel as an individual or with a small group of family or friends, or you can join any number of organized groups.
This webinar will tell you how to go. It’s not as complicated as you might think!
Merri Ansara, who has been traveling to Cuba since 1969 and for 20 years ran Common Ground Education and Travel sending thousands of people to Cuba as individuals or in groups, will outline the US regulations, the Cuban parameters, how to get there, where to stay, how to get around — and answer any of your questions.
Keep in mind that current US regulations may change once the new president gets in office, and not for the better, so consider taking advantage of the current opportunities to go.
Merriam Ansara has since 1969 traveled, lived and worked in Cuba, currently spending winters there. For 20 years she ran Common Ground Education & Travel which sent individuals, universities, museums, environmental organizations, academics, professional associations, librarians, musicians, artists, lawyers and judges, churches and synagogues, children’s groups and others to Cuba so that ordinary US Americans could connect with Cuban people themselves, to get a better understanding of the Cuban people and the future they want and have been trying to build for themselves, and to get a better understanding of the truth of US policy and the effects of the cruel measures it has imposed on Cuba for 63 years.
