Wed August 9 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm EDT
Hosted by artist and curator Melvin Hardy, this event seeks to memorialize the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. Join us in person in the Flora T. Little Meeting Room at the Bridgewater Public Library, or on Zoom! Offered by the Bridgewater International City of Peace in collaboration with the Massachusetts Peace Action.

He is credentialed at the United Nations, is an arts administrator, and sits on the boards of numerous arts, culture and humanities organizations. His reference groups include those advancing democracy, peace education as literacy, domestic and global economic development, and social mobility and cohesion in American society. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of International Affairs (Economics and African Affairs).
The Hiroshima Children’s Drawings Committee formed in 2005 to restore and preserve the original portfolio of drawings and use the drawings and the story behind them as a powerful example of peace and reconciliation.
