online – Local Peace Economy Meeting – November 6
Join us as we learn about the local peace economy together and support each other in cultivating Home Sweet Home in our communities! This a place to learn, connect, be nourished, and root into the power of our communities amidst these challenging times.
This week, we’re excited to be joined by Rev. Queen Mutima Imani to learn what she’s learned through her decades of cultivating the peace economy. As a social justice visionary, a long-time facilitator of the Work That Reconnects, and one of the root teachers of the Spiral Journey Foundation Program, Rev. Queen Mutima Imani has witnessed the need to decolonize Work That Reconnects spaces to allow its practices and principles to support a global audience. Through her years of study and practice, she has come to acknowledge the need for additional steps to be added to the Spiral of the Work.
The Decolonized, Expanded Spiral is a culmination of her years of research, practice and cultivated insight. Join us for an educational and interactive webinar, where we discuss the Spiral in depth, focusing on the new steps, which are steps away from the war economy into the peace economy.
We’ll be using the The Local Peace Economy Workbook and website as a resource to support our journeys. You can download a digital version of The Local Peace Economy Workbook for free, or you can purchase a physical copy.
These meetings typically take place every other Wednesday at 5:00 PT/8:00 ET. Newcomers always welcome! RSVP for the zoom link.
