California Demands an Immediate Cease-Fire in Gaza
Rally to urge the Democratic convention: End the genocide in Gaza; use diplomacy to free the hostages and build toward peace with justice

Who: Hosted by Sacramento Democrats for Justice in Palestine, Arab American Caucus, Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), A.N.S.W.E.R, Sacramento Regional Coalition for
Palestinian Rights.
Where: Sacramento’s Memorial Auditorium (1515 J Street) – Front Steps.
Date and Time: November 18th, 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm (speakers start at 4pm)
Speakers: We have invited Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib to speak at the rally. We have also
invited Linda Sansour and Cornell West to speak. We will update speaker information as the
date draws nearer.
How you can help: Attend the rally with family and friends. Bring signs (get creative with messages), banners, flags, kaffiyehs and other items that demonstrate support for Palestine. No
racist/anti-Semitic signs will be tolerated.
What we plan to achieve: The California Democratic Party holds its state convention for 3,000 delegates at the Sacramento convention center on November 18. This is the state party’s
nominating convention where it selects candidates to run for public office at the state and federal level. This presents an opportunity for the pro-Palestinian community to get our voices
heard, express our outrage with the party’s pro-Israel position and advocate for change.
