People’s Arms Embargo on World’s Children Day at Travis Air Force Base

November 20 @ 6:30 am - 8:00 am

Join World BEYOND War’s Co-Founder David Hartsough and our allies on Wednesday, November 20th for a People’s Arms Embargo to shut down Travis Air Force Base. Travis Air Force Base, merely an hour from San Francisco, is part of the weapons supply chain to Israel whose ongoing genocide in Gaza has killed 12,000+ children.
What: Shut Down Travis Air Force Base: People’s Arms Embargo on Israel
When: Wednesday, November 20 at 6:30am (World Children’s Day)
Where: Travis Air Force Base. Meet at the main gate at Air Base Parkway & Parker Road, Fairfield, CA 94535
For more information, please contact Toby: toby4peace@sonic.net.
Rally at the gates with banners, “bloodied” baby/child shrouds (painted with red paint), and our bodies for nonviolent action to stop the arms flow to Israel.
After over a year of U.S. funded genocide in Palestine, and mass protests across the country, the U.S. government is STILL ignoring the will of the majority of Americans who say no to tax $$ and weapons to the Israeli Apartheid State. Congress is preparing to send $20 billion MORE in weapons to support the horrific slaughter in Gaza.
We say: Please join THE PEOPLE’S ARMS EMBARGO. If the U.S. won’t instate an arms embargo, we will! Please join World BEYOND War and our allies in taking nonviolent action at Travis Air Force Base to stop the flow of weapons to Israel.
P.S. Join us this Saturday, November 16 at 10:00am Pacific for an action planning call with WBW’s Co-Founder David Hartsough who will share about the action plans and how you can get involved. RSVP here for the planning call on Saturday.

The People’s Arms Embargo is sponsored/endorsed by: CODEPINK – National; CODEPINK – SF Bay Area; Human Rights Working Group of UUS; Mount Diablo Peace & Justice Center; Occupy Beale; Peninsula Peace and Justice Center; Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism; Ban Killer Drones; Pace e Bene Nonviolence Service; United Front Committee for a Labor Party; Veterans For Peace – SF Chapter; California for a World BEYOND War; and World BEYOND War – Global.
