This panel, hosted by CA Superintendent of Education Tony Thurmond includes three speakers, at least two of whom represent organizations that conflate most criticism of Israel with antisemitism.
Send Superintendent Thurmond and the State Board of Education an email objecting to the bias of panel members.
Here is sample wording you can use or customize:
“Superintendent Thurmond, I object to your hosting a panel addressing antisemitism that appears to only includes the viewpoint of the false and harmful position that most criticism of Israel constitutes antisemitism. This detracts from real antisemitism and seeks to silence those advocating for an end to Israel’s well-documented human rights abuses. Either cancel the panel or include panelists who oppose conflating criticism of Israel with antisemitism.”
