This summer we have seen hundreds of extreme weather records broken, many resulting in tragic climate disasters. In New York this September, the UN Secretary-General is hosting a first-of-its-kind Climate Ambition Summit [1] to demand that nations stop the fossil fuel expansion that is driving the climate emergency.
In conjunction with the summit thousands of activists around the world will take to the streets on September 17 to demand their governments stop permitting fossil fuel projects.
Join us on the waterfront in Old Sacramento on Sunday September 17, 11:00 am, to demand that Governor Newsom and President Biden End the Era of Fossil Fuels by committing to end new permitting, phase out oil and gas production and declare a climate emergency.
