Join us on Saturday, June 1st. 6:30pm, at the Washinton Neighborhood Center, 400 16th St. Sac., for a showing of the documentary 1948: Creation and Catastrophe . The film dives into the complex political and social factors that led to the formation of the country, as well as the catastrophic consequences that ensued for the Palestinian people.

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

Entry is FREE but please consider bringing toilet paper and water to give back to the Washington Neighborhood Center.

Through riveting and moving personal recollections of both Palestinians and Israelis, 1948 reveals the shocking events of the most pivotal year in the most controversial topic of the world.
