Peace in Our Time, Peace for All Time: A Forum with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Wed July 12 @ 7:00 pm9:00 pm EDT

On July 12th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be addressing the issues of war, peace, and US foreign policy in an educational forum open to the public. The forum will be held at the Media Arts Center of Roxbury Community College, 1234 Columbus Ave, Roxbury Crossing, MA 02120. (See a Map of the RCC Campus.) The format for the event will include remarks by Mr. Kennedy followed by a Q&A discussion.

Mr. Robert F. Kennedy is an environmental lawyer, author, activist, founder of the Waterkeeper Alliance, and founder of Children’s Health Defense. As an environmental lawyer, he has worked to clean pollution from the Hudson River, and fought large corporate polluters in court, including Monsanto and DuPont. Currently, Mr. Kennedy is running for the Democratic Party’s nomination for President of the United States.

You can attend the event in person or via live-streaming online. Tickets for the in-person venue can be purchased here for $10. Reduced ticket prices are available by contacting PeaceForum2023@gmail.com. Space is limited so your ticket is required for entrance. All ticket proceeds will go to The Community Church of Boston to help offset the financial costs of the event.

To submit questions or topics to be considered for discussion at the forum, please email PeaceForum2023@gmail.com. We apologize in advance for not being able to get to every question.

The July 12th public forum is being co-sponsored by The Community Church of Boston, the Traprock Center for Peace and Justice, The House of Peace, and Boston Area Assange Defense.

Co-sponsoring this forum is not an endorsement of Mr. Kennedy’s campaign or his views. The organizers of this event support the right to be informed, stimulate critical thinking, and promote pluralism and diversity of thought, in an atmosphere of respectful dialogue. Rather than endorsing or fundraising for Mr. Kennedy’s candidacy, we aim to provide a platform to facilitate free expression about war and peace. This is especially important since Mr. Kennedy has been made virtually invisible by the corporate media, a circumstance that we consider undemocratic. We aim to increase public understanding of how to transition from militaristic policies to policies of genuine peace.

MAPA is not a co-sponsor of the forum and has not endorsed any candidate for president in 2024.
