‼️Emergency Solidarity Rally‼️To Demand Hands off West Africa – SELF DETERMINATION, NOT MILITARIZATION‼️

The people of Niger are rising up to reject French and American militarization of their country alongside the entire region of West Africa.

We stand with the thousands taking to the streets in Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali calling for recognition of their independence, self determination and the right to make decisions without foreign military involvement or invasion!

Last week the military of Niger carried out a coup against their French backed president. Since then, there have been daily demonstrations in the capital demanding recognition of a new system not dominated by ideals of French colonialism and the French military.

Despite claims of being a “stable democracy,” millions of Nigeriens struggle day to day to get the basic necessities of food, clean water, and livable housing while private companies export billions of dollars in mineral wealth to France and the United States.

Why should the people in one of the richest countries in the world live in poverty? Why should one of the richest continents in the world live in poverty?

We stand with Nigeriens in West Africa and all Africans across the continent demanding self determination and an end to neo-colonial militarization!
